CNCS awarded $1.1 million contract
CATOOSA, Okla. -- Cherokee Nation Construction Services was recently awarded a $1.1 million delivery order to provide services to renovate training rooms at Dover Air Force Base in Dover, Del. Renovation of the rooms will consist of demolition, installing HVAC systems, architectural design and extending the fire protection systems.

This project has a short period of performance. The delivery order and notice to proceed were awarded last month, and the work must be complete by July 1 of this year.
This is the second delivery order that CNCS has received from Dover AFB within the past six months. The first contract was a $5.7 million delivery order awarded this past November for renovations and repairs to Facility 722 at Dover AFB, Delaware.

CNCS awarded $5.7 million contract Cherokee Nation Construction Services, LLC (CNCS) was recently awarded a $5.7 million delivery order contract this past November to design renovations to and repair Facility 722 at Dover Air Force Base (AFB), Delaware.
CNCS teamed with CH2M HILL, a Colorado based company, on this endeavor.
The type of work to be accomplished in accordance with this contract includes, but is not limited to, design and renovation of all interior and exterior areas of the facility and to construct a new entrance canopy at the main entrance.
CNCS will design and repair existing facility systems (HVAC, Electrical, Communications, etc.) affected by this renovation, a new fire suppression system and an integrated fire/mass notification system.
In addition CNCS will be responsible for any abatement of asbestos, lead base paint and /or mold discovered during the design of the project.
